Design isn't just about making things look pretty. Design is about solving problems. This has inspired me to learn valuable skills that takes your product from conception to being a reality

Everyone has their own unique perspective, and that's what makes designers so special. We all have our own individual processes, methodologies and ways of seeing the world.
Specifically, when I design, I ask myself few questions that helps me figure out if I'm doing it rightly;
1. Why I made a particular design decision - having a reason for a design decision works all the time. Decision like this stems from research and indepth understanding.
2. Can you communicate and defend your decisions without confusion? - I saw the importance of this while I was interning with DamIsreal Technologies. My team lead would ask me to explain the reasons for a particular element, motion etc in a design. The fact I was able to give sufficient reasons for my design decisions was the team needed.
In designing a product (Mobile app, Website), I ensure to understand the problem(s) the product is meant to solve.
One thing I've come to notice is that re-designing a product is more complex than creating from birth. Whichever way, I want to know
1. The reason for this design request.
2. What do you need your users to see?(communication)
3. What will success look like to you/company?
